The $1M Funded Account Challenge — Participant Manual

Version v1 · 2026-08-04

1. What your entry covers

Your entry buys a seat in the Plan B Trader trading group. That is the daily two-hour live session, the blueprint, the coaching, the tools, and the signals.

Warning:Your entry does not cover the cost of your evaluation account. You buy that from the prop firm directly, at their price. We point you at them and walk you through the process — we do not issue the account, the capital, or the payout.

Two separate things, two separate costs. Budget for both before you start, because starting the group without an evaluation account means sitting out the part that matters.

2. How the program runs

This is a live desk, not a course library. Everyone runs the same blueprint on the same instruments at the same time, and the session is where the learning actually happens — you watch a setup get taken or skipped, and you hear why while the chart is still live.

  • Two hours a day. One focused session during live market hours. The exact window is posted in the group.
  • One group. You trade alongside everyone else in the cohort. Ask your question in the room — someone else has it too.
  • One target. Hold a funded account and trade it inside its rules. That is the whole game.

3. Getting your evaluation account

Evaluation accounts for this program come from Bulenox. Apply through this link so your account is tied to the group:

Note:This is an affiliate link — Plan B Trader may earn a commission when you open an account through it, at no extra cost to you. You are free to open an account any other way; the link exists so the desk can see who is in the program.

Choose your account size in the session before you buy. Bulenox sets its own prices, account sizes, profit targets, drawdown limits, and payout terms, and it changes them from time to time — always read the current rules on their site rather than relying on what someone remembers.

4. Your first week

Do these in order. Do not skip to step 4.

  1. 1

    Join the group

Take your seat in the daily session and introduce yourself. Turn up to a full session before you place a single trade.

  2. 2

Read the blueprint end to end

Once, properly, before you trade it. It tells you what you are looking for and — more importantly — when you are not allowed to take it.

  3. 3

    Paper-trade the setups

Run the blueprint on a demo until you can name the setup before the coach does. This costs you nothing but time, and it is the cheapest evaluation you will ever fail.

  4. 4

    Buy your evaluation account

Only when the setups are second nature. An evaluation bought early is an evaluation bought twice.

  5. 5

Trade it like it is already funded

Same size, same rules, same journal. The evaluation is not a practice round — it is the audition.

5. The rules that fail people

Most participants don't pass their first challenge, and it is rarely because they couldn't find a trade. It is almost always one of these:

  • Daily loss limit. Breach it once and the account is gone, no matter what the balance says. Know your number before the session opens.
  • Trailing drawdown. It moves up with your high-water mark. A good morning tightens your floor for the afternoon.
  • Revenge sizing. Doubling up after a loss is how a small red day becomes a dead account.
  • Trading outside the window. News events, illiquid hours, and prohibited instruments are where the rules get broken by accident.
Risk:The exact limits are set by the prop firm and differ by account size and program. Read your account's current rules on the firm's site and write your own numbers down before you place your first trade. Nothing in this manual overrides them.

6. The daily routine

The traders who pass are boring on purpose. A session looks like this:

  1. Check your remaining daily loss allowance and your drawdown floor.
  2. Review the signals and the levels marked up for the session.
  3. Wait for a setup that matches the blueprint. Skip everything else.
  4. Size to the risk the blueprint allows — not to how confident you feel.
  5. Journal every trade taken and every trade skipped, with the reason.
  6. Stop when the session stops. Do not trade on alone afterwards.
Note:The journal is not admin. It is the only record of whether you actually traded the blueprint or something that felt like it, and it is what the coaching works from.

7. If you fail an evaluation

You very well might, and it is not the end of the program. Your seat in the group is not tied to any one account — bring the journal to the session, work out which rule actually broke, and fix that one thing before you buy another evaluation.

Warning:A new evaluation account is a new purchase from the prop firm every time. Your group entry is not charged again, but the account is. This is exactly why the blueprint is paper-traded first.

8. Common questions

Does my entry pay for the evaluation account?

No. Entry covers the trading group only. The evaluation account is bought from the prop firm separately, at their price.

Am I guaranteed to get funded?

No. Nobody can guarantee that. The evaluation is set by the prop firm and most participants don't pass their first one.

Do I have to attend every day?

No, but the people who pass are the ones who turn up. The session is the product.

Can I use the blueprint on my own broker account?

Yes. The rules and risk model apply anywhere — the evaluation is just where they are enforced for you.

Who pays me if I get funded?

The prop firm, on their payout schedule and terms. Plan B Trader is not party to that arrangement.

What happens when the free founding window closes?

Nothing changes for you. If you enrolled during the founding window your entry stays free — the $500 applies to people enrolling after it closes.

9. Support

Ask in the daily session first — it is faster and someone else usually has the same question. For anything account- or billing-related:

Risk:Trading foreign exchange, futures, CFDs, gold, and cryptocurrencies is highly speculative and carries a substantial risk of loss. You can lose some or all of your capital. Nothing in this manual is financial advice, and nothing here is a promise of funding, profit, or income. The “$1M” in the program name is the account size being worked toward — not an amount you will receive.
